HAC is freeware (29th September 2015 )

HAC is freeware and members of our forums can download the full version from the downloads section there.

Note, this version is still v1.16 and requires the serial number. The serial number and registration details are shown below the HAC installer download links. These requirements will be removed in the next update.

HAC v1.16 released for Windows (2nd November 2012 )

This update adds parsing of News Feeds(RSS), transparent fields plus better debugging during HAC startup. There are also some memory usage improvements and some minor bug fixes.

The News Feed functionality supports both RSS and Atom formats. It also allows feeds from both URLs and files to be parsed. It can cope with huge feeds and allows the user to skip unwanted articles and just store the sequence they need.

The HAC startup debugging makes it much easier for users with installation problems to find out where the problem is.

For further details see the release notes accompanying HAC and the posts listed in our forums.

This update brings many improvements to HAC created apps running on both standard Android devices and Amazon's Kindle Fire.

The Persistant Storage option now works so that when an app quits there is the option to automatically save all its variables/fields so that they can be automatically reloaded when the app restarts thus saving the programmer a lot of work.

There are some major improvements including fixing screen orientation, better detection of status bar height plus several bug fixes.

There are 4 new functions for fast array searching and 30 commands/functions for operating on Binary files.

HAC v1.12 released for Windows (5th Feb 2012 )

This update simplifies the installation of HAC and also adds some improvements and bug fixes. There is now an Easy Installer that can set up HAC on a system without an Android SDK in 10 minutes or even less depending upon one's internet connection speed.

The previous (now called Standard) installer could take a few hours to install the Android SDK as well as requiring some technical knowledge to set it up.

During HAC's first and subsequent runs it is now better at finding the paths to the Android SDK.

A new menu option "Android Emulators" now makes it easier to set up Emulators (also called AVDs).

An important bug has been fixed on non-English Windows systems that affected signing apps with a Private Key.

There are now two installers available for HAC:-

(1) Standard Installer is about 14MB in size and just installs HAC.

(2) Easy Installer is about 140MB in size and installs both HAC and a basic Android SDK.
